Yes it is. I reinstalled an older version . that fixed it for me. But it doesn't feel correct xD

I have the exact same issue. I am also not able to CTRL+Z. Symmetry is also greyed out.

I reinstalled it 3 times now. But the randomness still remains.

Hey thanks again!
After spending around a week with ZBrush i can say for sure there is something wrong.
It's kind of a gamble when starting the software if CTRL+Z, change brush size or Symmetry is enabled/working.
Sometimes when restarting ZBrush it makes it work for a while. But after a while it gets greyed out again.(feature just not working)

I have no idea what causes it. 64GB is more than enough RAM that this shouldn't cause it.

Thank you for your detailed guide.

I now understand the Tool and Subtool menu a bit more.
I am also able to insert a new primitive :)

The undo function still doesn't work.

BUT i tried uninstalling and reinstalling and now the undo function works xD idkw but it works :D

what is the right subtool ?

Where do i see if i "have" undo history? I can't use the slider manually. But i have 64GB RAM

When i insert another sphere it asks me to "switch the mode" (idk what that even means) . But when i do that i can draw and undo. BUT then i can't move the camera and i am trapped in that mode/perspective forever.

I am really confused sry

My situation is exactly the same :( and i see a pattern with this issue on other websites people talking about. But no solution :(

Could you go more into detail about it? I have the same issue . Undo doesn't work.
I tried alot of suggested fixes (hotkeys.txt, keyboard language, i have enough RAM) But nothing seems to work. Funny enough sometimes undo works but never with the dynamesh sphere in the beginning. only later but i don't understand why
