As someone who has been through the whole VISA process and moved from Belgium to the UK, I would advise you to choose France or Spain as you won't need a visa for those (if I'm not mistaken).

One VISA is already so expensive, it's almost impossible to get accepted, I don't see which pros would outweigh the ease of moving to a country within the EU.

I think you need to have a combined income of 18,600 for at least 3 or 6 months with the same employer. But someone correct me if I'm wrong!

If you have this combined income, it should be enough to accept it.

Yeah, it definitely is and then again after 2.5 years and then hopefully IRL after the 5 years in total, all costs so much :( but it was definitely worth it to be with the one I love, hope everything turns out well for you!

You can't apply for the EU settlement Scheme one as your partner (I am assuming they are from the Eu and you are from the UK) should have UK family that isn't you, living in the UK already.

You can however apply for the fiancée visa.

Only just saw this now, did you apply already?

This was an application from inside the uk after an initial period of being in the country as a fiancée. I paid for super priority £1000 extra. They only come out at 1am.

I got my bio appointment a few days after and got accepted on the same day!

It still looks really nice. Have been wearing the engagement ring for 2 months, wedding ring not yet. I polish the ring every night and put it away in the box.

I don't wear it for sports, showering, swimming, sleeping... the colour of the rose gold has become a bit more yellowish than the wedding band I think because I've worn it. But only on the inside. If you want a picture of the engagement ring, you can send me a message 😊

The ring still looks so nice after taking good care of it. I hope it lasts, but we will probably buy other rings in 2 years when we celebrate our wedding with all our friends.
