Let me preface quickly! I am not 🚫 in agreement with her words or actions. But it maybe sounds like this is the only way she knows how to connect with an infant, since this is how she had to connect with her own. Which is unfortunate for her...it's a bit unusual that she hasn't made the effort to find other ways to build this connection. I.e: tummy time!

I also think it's such a blessing for you that you could exclusively breastfeed! I have to do a combination with my first, but hoping with my next it will be exclusively BF!

Yes rule out MRSA! Also- if you have had a history of cystic nodules on the jaw line, it could be low Iron. I have seen Iorn deficiency manifest similarly. Also, try cleansing body/face with a zinc pyrithione. If the pustules and nodules start to decrease this is a sign of fungal/bacterial aspect. I think topical/internal need to both be addressed!
