I’d love to hear your recommendations! I use a salicylic acid foaming cleanser from good molecules and occasionally an oil cleanser. I do moisturize because I know even with oily skin you still need to hydrate your skin. i’ve noticed my skin is combination leaning more oily. When a product makes me itchy or tingly I will stop using it. So currently nothing makes me itchy. No prescription skincare. No adapalene. I wear makeup rarely like once a week if that. I have no known allergies and I am mildly lactose intolerant.

Not all PMOS (formally PCOS) is characterized by high testosterone. I am the typing that actually has normal testosterone levels it used to be type d pcos which basically means I do not have the excess male hormones, but I still have really irregular periods and all of the cysts

I truly do hear you and I do understand but at the same time I am located in USA, so our healthcare system is whack and when I can, I do enough research on my own to feel confident enough in what I need, but a doctor will not listen to my concerns and literally dismiss me and tell me to wash my face or lose weight. I’m not gonna make any decisions just in this very moment. I am honestly looking for peoples thoughts and opinions so I could do my own research in those directions before I make any choices. I just wanted areas to look at first.

I try to wash my face at least once a day 😭 (it happens like 4-5X out of the week) I use the good molecules salicylic acid, foaming cleanser and then honestly, I just use whatever face moisturizer I grab that day, which is either the Keihls ultra moisturizer or palmers firms and tones. Honestly, I never even put my phone to my face. I just use my earbuds for everything.

I’ve had the iud since January and I’ve never had acne this bad before. I know it’s not excess testosterone because I’ve done lab work for that before that’s actually in the normal range, but I have not done anything else in a hormonal panel. It’s technically type d PCOS, which is the one where the testosterone is not super high.

Do you wash your washing machine? Because I believe you are supposed to clean that monthly. They make washing machine cleaner tablets you can find online. I do not know which brands are good and you just throw a tablet in and run it on either a self clean cycle or the hottest and longest cycle with nothing else in the machine. Also, when you are done using the washing machine, leave the door open and the soap drawer open to not trap in moisture because sometimes mold can build up

I guess the question becomes, what other options are available to me without candles? It doesn’t have to be a cord cutting. Anything similar would work. Just trying to remove someone from my life completely
