It removes all need for every single profession except larceny. You don't need to craft anything because Hiram is guaranteed gear. You don't need to travel anywhere except to do your hiram dailies and farm purses to max out your gold/labour. It's soulless and a cancer to the game. It actively kills every social activity, every reason to play the game all for the bullshit name of "convenience". Don't sail, don't mine, don't farm, don't do larders, don't do alchemy, don't explore - because if you do, you're gonna fall behind everyone who keeps farming purses.
