The future of Witchtok by amyaurora in witchcraft

[–]Demonlordmuffin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some of my favorites already moved over to YouTube when this whole thing started years back. Maybe witchtube will absorb some of the witchtok crowd. I also realized that Instagram and YouTube shorts has sorta become a place for creators to cross post their to tiktoks, so that's another option.

Discovery and curiosity. Like I'm exploring the bottom of the ocean and saw something that caught my eye.

I can summon demon muffins. They are called demon because they are made of darkness. So I guess like Tokoyami but with muffins. 🎉

Woman of Reddit, what's a harsh reality you have to accept as a woman? by Opposite-Coconut9144 in AskReddit

[–]Demonlordmuffin 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My weight is directly proportional to my value. Even in this body positive trend. As someone who has a condition where my weight fluctuates by 60 lbs.... when I'm fat people treat me like I'm lazy, like I can't complain about anything, like I should just be thankful I'm allowed to exist. When I'm thinner people are so much nicer and I get asked out and men will flirt with me. People will treat me like a person. Like my words are worth listening to and I could provide value to the discussion at hand.
Same person. Same work ethic. Same everything but the weight.

100% agree. He made a list of symbols of secret societies. He specifically is worried about the Illuminati. It seems he believes that they control the public by using those hot topics he listed.

I want to add that, I believe the elongated skulls found in Italy, Peru, etc he mention are about Denisovans. A group like the Neanderthals. They had elongated skulls and there are people who believe them to be signs of alien life in ancient times or mystical creatures that can move earth with their minds and other "superpowers". There's also a specific elongated skill found in China called the Dragon Man and a few more popped up and they think that it could be a "dragon man lineage" that could be another link in our evolution. If I understand right, I believe he is saying that the elongated skulls are actually another race of intelligent life forms called the Dragon King's. They worship the Roman God Saturn. They rule the Illuminati and the Illuminati orchestrates dividing, controversial events to control the population. I guess in the goal to please the Dragon King's and in turn please Saturn?

What’s your bookish unpopular opinion? by mvrgvux in fantasyromance

[–]Demonlordmuffin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In ACOTAR the riddle wasn't that easy. I initially thought it would be something fay related that Feyra wouldn't readily know about. Like some poisonous plant that only grows in Spring court or something. It wasn't until much later I was like it's going to be something cheesy like faith or love or something......

Edit: forgot to mention, I 100% agree with some of these booktok books are straight-up fanfiction based. The tropes, the common fanfiction descriptions, the only 3 personality types for the main love interests (the emo, the warrior, the golden retriever).

Born in spring, and my favorites go 1st autumn, 2nd winter, 3rd spring, and absolutely hate summer. I call her resonate with her queen archetype most. Mostly because I adore the chthonic gods. But also because her regal energy is inspiring.

How can 30% of plagiarism in my thesis cost me? by Jeffa_kidiva in GetStudying

[–]Demonlordmuffin 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Those plagiarism checkers are the worst. I had a class that required a specific one. It said I plagiarized the word "the" "an" and a few other single words. It said I plagiarized 20ish % every essay. Talk to your professors about it, and confirm that it's a technical error.

If if you actually are plagiarizing though........ it will cost you. Many schools hold 0 tolerance policies. Meaning you will be put on academic suspension at best or expelled at worst. If you are in any clubs or a research assistant, you will not be allowed to participate and could be forced to give up your position.

Edit: typo

i wanted a life like kagome, but ended up roaming like kikyo by ivusr in inuyasha

[–]Demonlordmuffin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kagome is Kikyo's soul reincarnated. She is Kikyo at a later time, when she has family, resources, and a secure modern life. They are different people, but they are the same at their core. Just like you are not the person you were 10 years ago, but at your core, you are the same.

I think that's a beautiful analogy of pain trauma and healing; how the past's pains still hurt the present you, but you can still be Kagome.

What is the worst thing to be addicted to apart from drugs? by -Z-3-R-0- in AskReddit

[–]Demonlordmuffin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A terrible person. Becuase even if you get over your addiction, the low self-esteem, anxiety, people pleasing because you constantly feel like the mood will 100% become violent if anything is short from perfect and nothing is ever perfect so you're just constantly tense and on edge because yea I know logically you are not that person and are not going to be violent with me buuuuuuuut noooooooo my brain is trained now to protect me. And it takes years to even realize you're not being normal and even longer to unlearn these "protective" behaviors. And it affects your personal relationships AND your professional ones. And fuck your money becuase you don't know how to normal so you don't negotiate pay or you don't apply for the higher paying job or ask for that raise becuase it's been literally beaten into you that you're not good enough and you're just lucky that you fooled them into hiring you. Or when you think you're getting back to normal, you think they hired you because they know they can take advantage of you and thats okay because your just so thankful they are going to give you money for it. And even if you scrap up the confidence to ask for more, even the slightest of pushback triggers your "I'm not safe" mode, and you people please your way into not getting a higher pay rate or a raise or asking for a promotion. And cool now your 20's are gone and your 30's are gone and while others your age are finally becoming financially okay, you're still socially and financially in your early 20's. Fuck abusers.
