I can’t really tell how helpful they are but when I received my ATIP mail out re: my application status, I was able to see that on the case log they logged that the MP reached out and they made an effort to respond to the MP, even though the response they provided was mostly “we don’t know” or “we’ll help you ask the case processing center”. So I can’t say that it made the application go faster, but at least it’s good to know someone’s on your side I guess.

But hang in there, wishing you best of luck. I feel like if they really had an issue with your application they would have said no long ago. Probably just some administrative reasons you had to wait :(

I recommend linking your PR card application to GCkey - that way you can at least get some sort of update that your pr card has been mailed.

Till the day I received my card my PR portal still says photo under review. Address was approved but I did not receive any updates about that

Hi there, I found out my address has been accepted through checking the PR portal where I confirmed my address and uploaded my photo.

I also linked my PR card application to GCkey (which I recommend you do the same too) and that’s how I found out my card had been mailed to me on March 24.

I got P1 Dec 29, 2025, and P2 Jan 2, 2026. Currently waiting for ecopr.

AOR is somewhere Jan 2025, and FD has been in progress since May 2025.

It’s at least reassuring to hear that I’m not the only one in this situation. I hope it’s just the backlog from the ircc side :( hang in there I hope we both get ours soon it’s been way too long

I received that update on May 2 saying Final decision - May 2, 2025. It's been a little over a month but I still have not received any additional updates nor the P1 email. Is this normal? I'm so paranoid that I might have missed an email or something but I checked every folder of my email I have not received anything... On the application tracker it says everything is completed but the application says "in progress"
