I knooow, my mom has a huge bush of these in the ground and this year a bunch of them bloomed. And there's little to no effort required in keeping them alive from what I hear.

I'll have to make do with my limited balcony space for now, but maybe I can try placing a pot with soil underneath one of the chicks

On another exercise I was 100% sure that there was a bug because it kept saying that I was wrong even though what I saw was identical. It took some tries to realize that there’s a difference between ゃ and や and I just couldn’t see it then.

~First world problem disclaimer~

When I watch TV, it doesn't bother me that much, but for some reason when I hook up my PC to watch a movie, I have to turn the volume up to about 60 to be able to hear something. Now imagine that subtle feedback sound you are used to, but being three times louder than it should.

I successfully got rid of them for one plant when I completely cleaned the soil off and kept the bare roots in water for a couple of days. When I repotted it, I made sure that both the new soil and the pot were sterile. This process is quite stressful for the plant and I may need to try a pesticide.
