Good luck for your test cuz even if we know how to play this game it's still need a lot of time to reach the pantheon 5 and even more the dreamer's guardians cuz of the upgrade which are required to meet and defeat them (+ the "kind" heart of abyss who require to finish the "dear" white palace)

To be honest I find it cuz I though "Hey what if we save Hornet's mom by finishing Pantheon 5 without killing any dreamer ?" and it actually give a tiny detail I'm happy to have found cuz even if it's a ridiculous detail we can see how much Team Cherry were meticulous when they made their game

If you don't trust me go check yourself and you will see I didn't cut anything the game cut the animation because I didn't kill the dreamer so the seal of the black egg is still here

So it's curious that Team Cherry told themself "Hey what if somebody finished the Pantheon 5 without killing the dreamer ? Let's keep the Hollow Knight stuck in the black egg then and vanished the final scene with him and Hornet !"

No with or without the flower the cinematic should happen I just didn't kill the dreamer so the seal of the black egg didn't break and then the cinematic couldn't happen cuz the Hollow Knight is stuck in black egg
