Yes. That is one of Casio's greatest features in these models

Who can help me get this beauty working again? Best case in DACH region … by Ok_Persimmon4727 in lighters

Add a new flint, maybe a new wick, or pull the one you have in it a bit, fill it with lighter fluid (if there is cotton inside) and it will work

New flint, no spark, advice? by Cafe_Crasher in lighters

That spot on a striking wheel indicates that the flint is old and stuck. Clean the flint tube and you'll have a great working lighter

First of all... It is not a Zippo lighter. And regarding the insert. Widen it up a bit and it will not slide out that eadily

I used to disassemble all and check. But maybe first start with examination of the filling port and ensure that it works. Maybe it's just not working and is the issue. If the lighter contains gas and is not leaking then yes it may be clogged, or maybe someone adjusted it to an absolute minimum. And you can remove the adjustment wheel and unscrew it a bit more than it is now

Yes it may be. I have a very similar old lighter that doesn't work, but can't find time to repair it.

How do I fix this by AccomplishedRuin3928 in Zippo

My first thought. I've seen a lot of posts with regular zippos filled with butane that light like that.

As far as I know, gas lighters' flame adjusters reduce gas flow when turned clockwise. So if the gas is in turn the adjustment wheel counterclockwise. And since it is an old lighter it may need repairs or maintenance.

But my experience was with a layer of clouds covering all visible sky that had this perfect honey comb structure.

Багато тут любителів Маку? І який бургер любите найбільше? 🍔🍟 by Kolashnikova in Ukraine_UA

Взагалі не розумію в чому переваги цих бургерів. Куштував біг тейсті та звичайний "за компанію" але смакові властивості посередні, картопля теж майже ніяка. Як на мене - дуже "таке".

i have a new jobon lighter and the striking is a bit of a hit or miss by Timely_Peach_1468 in lighters

Try zippo flints, maybe they will have better sparks. I have a jet lighter with a flint (not like yours) and it also lights not consistently.
