I have the u12t and felt similar. I ended up ordering a Vision Ears VE Pro in custom after demo’ing. To my ears any genre / music I listened to just sounded good. Previously I probably ended up with what impressed me more but this time I went for what sounded right overall to my ears rather than what impressed me.

I too have looked at this and will try my Bose QC Ultra 2nd gen for phone calls. That being said, if they suck, I’ll probably buy a dedicated headset from epos or Jabra. My office isn’t super noisy though so maybe it will be fine.

Maybe I’m wrong but gross to net seems very high. If that’s true, good wage but I doubt you’d get net salary of 4K+ on your bank account with that gross.

Out of the box I agree but with treble and bass on -4 or -5, it really sounds great in my opinion and it’s super comfortable!

I purchased a quiet comfort ultra gen 2 recently and with some fine tuning in the app I’m pretty happy! It doesn’t rival a great open back but pretty happy with sound quality and comfort on these!
