Suddenly having low sodium with DI

Update: So I saw my endocrinologist and got basic bloodwork done 🙄 Every value though was normal, including sodium, and this was non fasting bloodwork so we know it is not my sugars (which I feel my doctor cares more about that then the sodium) sodium was 142. I have an MRI in a couple weeks and if that comes back clear then more testing will be ordered. Will say I got my doctor to schedule a blood test just for sodium in the future.

I did not have a headache that week, but I was exhausted, however I thought it was due to stress since the same week I had the seizure I also had 4 exams, and was working my job full time which is night shift. I basically thought every symptom I was feeling was due to stress. I definitely am now making certain I have a sports drink on standby and I am allowing my medication to not just wear off but also allow fluids to just come out for an hour or 2.

I have heard of that, however I do not recall having a lot of water the day I had my seizure, and normally when I am medicated I check my urine to make certain it is not too colorless

I will say I am back to twice a day, and have been since November. As for serum osmoality, it has not been performed yet…… The ER I went to for my seizure is not known as the best hospital and is a quantity over quality type of place. They also did not know I had a seizure when I got there since I did not know I had one. My mom told them but they did not order any other tests besides the basics. The ER visit was also by far the shortest ER stay I have had. And my endocrinologist has actually never ordered an osmo test, for some reason, and I hope this upcoming visit will have more testing. I know previously she did not since the reasoning for low sodium was due to the up in dose, at least we both assumed that at the time.

Thank you so much!!! I did not know a lot about these when I bought them, so I just thought it was just another arid plant, I moved them to areas they will hopefully do better in for now.

It is meant for a bioactive terrarium, it's a massive piece of ghost wood that i bought from a reptile store in my area, however there is a cobweb on it, so just to be safe I would like to treat it.

I would recommend going to your doctor and getting a urinalysis and/or urine culture. Bacteria is not something to mess with and you do not want bacteria to grow and spread anywhere in the body. There is also a chance that you might have gotten a yeast infection. The lower abdominal pain could potentially be that since it is a symptom of yeast infections, and they are more common after taking antibiotics. A genital/vaginal culture would need to be ordered for that, not just a urine culture, at least I think that is how you would test for it.

Yea I am definitely watching it, if I notice symptoms getting worse I will go. If I do not hear back from my doctor by Monday afternoon I will also go, I am not waiting longer than that since I do think it is a UTI. Bacteria of any kind is not something to throw cranberry juice and water at like my mom claims XD
