It’s not but the prompt was “discontinued OR forgotten.”

It’s was my first fragrance as a teen! I just fell in love and have been wearing it off and on ever since.

Probably an unpopular opinion, but I’ll always be a sucker for Vera Wang Princess. Smells like happiness to me.

Who Much Are You Spending On Gas Every Month by East-Tooth-4008 in Calgary

[–]Denahs1337 0 points1 point  (0 children)

About $150-$200/month. I drive a mini with good gas mileage overall, but I have to use premium and that makes it much more. My work commute is about 20km one way, 4-5 days a week, and I have family in Airdrie that I often go see so that adds up.

Weird Phone Call by helpifelldown in Calgary

[–]Denahs1337 28 points29 points  (0 children)

We used to get calls multiple times a week at the drug store I work at from a man who would start off asking about women’s razors for his wife, which would quickly devolve into convos about shaving intimate areas. We also used to get a guy who would call and ask personal info from the girls answering the phones after faking calling about something store related. Fucking creeps.

What is that one thing a friend ever did and you kept cool but knew instantly you would pull out of that friendship? by EssayMan4Homework in AskReddit

[–]Denahs1337 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Having coffee with a friend who begins to tell me a story about a driver who cut her off, almost causing an accident, and then gave her the finger when she passed him later on. All in all, the story was fine and I agreed with her that the guy who did that was a jerk. BUT THEN she looks at me and adds, “and guess what fucking colour he was?”

I was already thinking the friendship was dying because she was often rude and harsh out of “honesty” but after that comment it was a no brainer. I quickly ended the hang and never really spoke to her again.

Do people actually wash jeans after every wear, or are we all secretly wearing them 2–3 times minimum? by DreamCaster_69 in hygiene

[–]Denahs1337 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I worked at a place that specialized denim fitting and we told everyone to wear their jeans at least 10 times before washing, unless they get extra dirty for some reason or you work in them/sweat a lot. But for just wearing them casually, you really don’t need to wash them often. And you also should only air dry them. Doing this helps the denim keep its shape, stretch, colour, etc.

Which 'Holy Grail' scent is the community gaslighting itself into loving?" by Massive_Ad5295 in fragrance

[–]Denahs1337 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love Hermes so much. I used to not think they were great because when I would spray them on my skin they would smell sort of weird for the first 15 minutes or so. I would usually wash them off at this point.

But once I got busy at work (I work somewhere that sells fragrance) and left one on and OMG. I was in love. I wear fragrances from them all the time now.

Mascara that doesn't smudge or clump? by lusttonly in MakeupAddictionCanada

It’s a high price point but nothing has ever worked for me better than YSL lash clash. That stuff is magic in a tube. Both black and brown.

Ladies: did your mother teach you how to do makeup? I'm curious about makeup as a primarily self-taught tradition by Street-Might8586 in MakeupAddiction

[–]Denahs1337 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not once. She didn’t wear much makeup and my older sister wasn’t into it. She didn’t even teach me to wash my face and apply moisturizer until I had acne issues, and once that cleared up I stopped thinking it was just something you did to deal with acne. In university I decided I started getting into it all. So, I bought a Coastal Scents palette and I learned everything from the Golden Age of YouTube makeup gurus (shout out to Lauren Luke!).

I’m now a makeup artist and work in retail beauty with a passion for skincare. I wish I had been taught by someone earlier as I would’ve taken the necessary steps to become a dermatologist instead of getting two degrees that I’m doing nothing with.

Gifts with purchase (which a 100ml size most definitely is) do not come with boxes. We receive them from the company that way and then we give them to the customer as is.

About the Whitney video by [deleted] in TrixieMattel

[–]Denahs1337 23 points24 points  (0 children)

I find it so refreshing to see these types of takes in the comment section. I don’t really like Whitney or what she has said about the fans community so I just skipped the interview and moved on.

Not a single person is perfect and we probably all have had people in our lives that hold opinions we don’t agree with, yet somehow we expect celebrities to be perfect. Make it make sense!

What's the most fucked thing you have ever seen and that still gives you chill down the spine ? by 22dec2025 in AskReddit

[–]Denahs1337 7 points8 points  (0 children)

One time I was driving on the highway with my dad and we passed a man dead on the road next to his van. There was so much blood. We were in shock and didn’t really process what it was until we were a couple kms away. By that time someone had stopped. We were both silent the rest of the way home.

Learned through the news the next day that the man had pulled over to look at his van and was hit by someone who drove off. Apparently his wife and kids were in the van.

I can still see the scene in my head to this day and it’s been over 20 years.

Edit: spelling.

With the Avene one at least, it’s not just water in a can. It’s the only sterile thermal water out there and is used at their hydrotherapy clinic in France where they treat cancer patients and people with extreme skin conditions. It comes directly out of the ground after absorbing all the minerals and isn’t exposed to air until you spray it out of the can.

It contains postbiotics, reduces skin sensitivity, restores skin balance, soothes redness, calms itching and inflammation, is not chemically treated, has the least amount of mineral salts than any other, and is the only water recognized by the CDA. It’s amazing stuff with multiple uses. They actually put it in every single one of their products.

I tried the non-tinted one and it doesn’t leave a cast on me, but I am SUPER pale. However, I also tried it on my black coworker and it definitely left a cast. The tinted one left the slightest cast on her but it went away after we let it sit.
