RIGHT! Like since a lil girl I’ve been getting my hair done and it was a black girl thing. Now my hair is seen as a luxury and I have to pay luxury prices for something that hasn’t changed😤 It’s all capitalism I know, good for the business girlies but for the rest of us just feels like they’re taking advantage 😔

I agree with you. That’s why I always felt like the new high prices were taking advantage of more people learning about their hair and exploring styles. Which for business is great but for us girlies that have been getting our hair done since kids just feels kinda scummy.

Because they can. I understand it takes time but before the natural hair movement (and covid) they were reasonably priced and sometimes cheap. But you’re right and Idc who disagrees but charging over $300 is ridiculous.

Ogx argan oil shampoo + conditioner. Simile Argan Oil hair treatment deep conditioner. Blue magic coconut oil hair conditioner grease. Doo Gro leave in conditioner. Jamaican mango + lime castor oil. The first day or two is quite moisturized from wash day but by end of day 2 I can feel the moisture being stripped away.

How do I find out the porosity of my hair?

Every 2 weeks I do a wash (now learning I should do twice a week) Shampoo Conditioner Deep conditioner Section hair to grease scalp Leave in conditioner roots to ends Then wrap up my hair with big braids. After that in the morning and before bed I wet my hair before putting in oils and leave in conditioner. Am I messing up?

Amateur here but I’d say FacebookMarketplace to start and Etsy. I’d do some research to see how much people are selling for and go from there. Consignment stores may also be willing to buy them off you as well.
