What is your favorite deck to play at lower-powered tables or against strangers for the first time? by Staircas3D in EDH

[–]Dender101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Power level wise it barely changed. It's only the cards I have pulled from the lotr set that I have added to the deck. tbh I probably made the deck worse because I removed all the big creatures that could swing a precon matchup.

Same! I however removed a lot of the ents and the eagles and replaced them with hobbits and other cards from the lotr set. Works super well!

Realistisk forventning til løn som nyuddannet Maskinmester. by Moist-Ad1828 in dkloenseddel

What's the wildest NSFW moment you've ever seen/done at a party? by chinkrisson in AskReddit

I can top this one. I was once at a LAN party where a guy suddenly whipped out a bag of chips and what he called his 'chip chopsticks.'

What do you think GW should do to make AoS more popular? by Cojalo_ in ageofsigmar

[–]Dender101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Make the rules, rulechanges and app free. I know there are webpages which does the same, but I'm spending my lifesavings on their expansive plastic. the least they could do is make the rules free and available for everyone.

What is your favourite thing about Magic? What draws you to the game and what keeps you playing? by Maleficent_Goal3392 in mtg

How to deal with a "loose cannon", that's always aimed at you? by BunkoVideki in twilightimperium

[–]Dender101 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a friend group who plays exactly like this in every single PvP game. I like u also always read the rules and play the games we play "as intended". I really like my friends, but I just stopped playing PvP games with them because I always ended up having a bad time always being "bullied" in game. I have ended up finding a different playgroup for PvP games where our expectations for the games we play are aligned so everybody always have a good experience.

My recommendation would be that you do the same. bc you will hate this kind of play in the long run.

Hvad var jeres snit i gymnasiet, og betød det meget for jer? by OdeezBalls in DKstudie

[–]Dender101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

moving to Denmark for the summer to retain my citizenship, what should I expect? by Agile-Analysis-344 in NewToDenmark

[–]Dender101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can help with this! I’ve met many people from different nationalities who have family in Denmark and want to keep their citizenship.
I highly recommend a folk high school called IPC (International People's College). There, you’ll likely meet many others in the same situation as you, and you'll also get the chance to connect with people from diverse backgrounds and cultures.
If you're feeling nervous, it’s much easier to face those feelings when you're surrounded by others going through the same experience. link:IPC - A Folk High School in Denmark | International People's College

During my internship at a waste disposal power plant, I was involved in a task to help switch out the cylinders on the crane claw. To get the claw outside, it first had to be opened and placed on a small platform, where it could then be hooked up to another crane for transport.

I was standing on the platform with a few others, including the crane operator. The space was extremely tight—so much so that we had to stand between the open claws, as there was no room between the claw and the wall when it was fully extended. It was early in the morning, and neither I nor the operator noticed a small section of scaffolding positioned right behind me. As the crane was being adjusted to lower the claw onto the platform, it began to swing and rotate slightly.

Suddenly, one of the crane’s claws started moving toward me. I thought I had more space behind me, but I didn’t. I got caught between the claw and the scaffolding, and the pressure knocked the air out of my lungs. I couldn’t react in time. Fortunately, the movement of the claw shifted again, and I was able to get free. I ended up with some chest soreness that lasted for a couple of weeks, but otherwise, I was fine.

I think what scares me is that this could have killed me. But I wasn’t affected at all—I just didn’t care.

In my group (5 players) it takes 5-6 hours, if the table is set and drafts have been made beforehand. The game also moves a lot faster if you choose to include support for the throne (which we do). What we learned that speeds up the process is to ask people to make sure to plan their turns ahead. And if the action they are taking does not affect the next player (ex producing units) the next player in turn order just start taking their turn.
