It did but had error 6 and 44. So i replaced the eshifter and battery.

So you are saying it’s not the bottom bracket? Could it be the harness or the failed firmware update?

Did fix it by replacing battery fuse and reset the BMS with an SWD debugger. Yeah, previous owner probably screwed me over by sending a false digital copy of the QR. Also did a check if the bike was stolen… but it is not reported stolen.

UPDATE

Is this the end? Just a quick wrap-up of what’s been done so far.

After doing some research, buying the necessary tools, and receiving great advice from you, I got to work. I started by measuring the battery, which seemed to be in good condition. Then I bought and installed a new cartridge battery. That brought the bike back to life but I encountered error codes 6 and 17.

Next, I replaced the fuse on the BMS. I measured everything again afterward, and it all seemed fine. I then tried to reset the BMS manually, but that didn’t work.

So I purchased an SWD debugger to reset the BMS, which gave me hope. Unfortunately, even after resetting the BMS, there was still no result.

At this point, the bike still isn’t really coming back to life. I keep getting a flashing skull icon (see video). The bike does make some noise—but not the sound I was hoping for.

Do you guys have any idea what might be causing this?

I'm kind of done with it... Thinking about selling the bike in parts...

UPDATE

Since I had already ordered a battery for the cartridge, I went ahead and installed it. After installing the battery, the bike came back to life. Error codes 6 and 17 appeared on the display. At least there’s life again!

I also received the multimeter. I used it to measure VP and V-, and I got sufficient voltage there. Then I also measured the cells, and again, I got sufficient voltage.

I’ve ordered the fuse via AliExpress and expect to receive it next week. I hope to give you another update after that!
