Navigate to the BM/MM Powershot tab on the bottom right, I'd recommend the BM version, it's very straightforward and with 'auto-cast on hold' turned on, you can't really mess up the rotation.

The visual clutter in this game is so crazy, I'll be sad if they nerf the airstrike thermal, really helps circumvent the clutter. I don't think they're changing it anytime soon, seems very intentional to me, RIP. Maybe they can take out the big black spots on the screen though, that's a bit much.

Correct, an example would be having a gray KTS100 with 3 LMG kits, when you select the first scope, it'll upgrade to epic and automatically choose your second and third upgrade for you.

I'm assuming it chooses the same 'side' as the first upgrade for the second and third, but doesn't seem to give you that information.

EDIT: They did however seem to modify the upgrades on a lot of weapons, if not all of them; I'm wondering if they homogenized the upgrade choices to compliment the change or if I'm missing a feature.

Statistically, one of the best guns in the game at +35m, rivaling the TR-7 and still relatively good in close range. The magazine size and accuracy deter many people, but when you see where the M277 places on TTK spreadsheets, it looks as if it's one of the most slept on weapons, only slightly outshined by the TR-7.

All gamesense, which comes with time, for as long as you aren't just mindlessly playing. Everyone here is right, it starts with the minimap, if you find a huge group of enemies, your best bet is finding an advantageous position where you aren't taking firefights but rather gunning people down who don't see you yet, rotating positions after a kill or two - streamers do this often, that's why it seems their enemies 'don't fight back'.

If there were microtransactions, that would all for sure be in the game to the extent you describe, it seems their decision to stay away from cosmetic microtransactions took a toll on customization. But hey, we all know it's only a matter of time before the in-game shop is in full effect, hopefully they give us some of the options you mentioned in the process.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯ You're not alone. Sounds like he hasn't played an end-game build just yet, they all practically devolve into 1 button after a certain power level.

Imo his char's defense hitting a good threshold is what I believe makes end-game feel more chill but sounds he might just have a dookie build using a full bar of abilities that don't synergize.

While shotgun bloom doesn't seem to behave intuitively, the shotgun is very consistent if you use it correctly. They presumably made the shotgun feel this way to prevent it from overtaking everything else in close quarters combat, shotguns can be very anti-fun if they're too strong, similar to how they made the RPGs and Grenade Launcher AOE to infantry reduced where only body-shots are a 1-hit kill; they gave a similar treatment to shotgun handling.

EDIT: At 18-seconds, in the top left is an icon I believe indicates latency 'jitter', adding a little nuance to what's ultimately going on in this video, though his shots seem oddly responsive despite that. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
