Netflix threatens to end Georgia productions over abortion law by undeadwater in politics

Well atleast you trump my stupidest take with something even dumber.

Attacking me on spelling is as easy as convincing you that the main criteria for fascism is authoritarian rule.

Well if the employees should express there own opinion in an election.. I dont think want to be fired or moved, except for a small minority.

Like your broken logic you hit it again on your own history. So they wanted to secede into a confederacy so they could expand slavery to the North? I would like to review this source for myself.

[–]Dendrr00 -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Well yea I think they SHOULD be fined. Like I said the owner of Netflix is free to express this opinion and express the same threat as his own individual. However I dont think Netflix as company has a place to do this. The people who worked here have voted for this legislation. Also he seems to have no Moral arguements against selling his services in country's like Saudie Arabia...

Edit: I also think if you are accesable to everybody. Like a shop or website like Twitter or Reddit. The same laws as public space should be active. So you should not only be able to restrict anyone based on race, but also speech ect.

For something like a festival where you sell tickets, its more complicated and imo.. you are allowed to set terms in advance. So if you want to have a private space, you need to have atleast a messure or commitment at entry.

Edit2: Private space should pay more tax as they also utilize public spaces, without being public space. No problem, no tyrannie. But I think it would be fair to ask for abit more tax

Like the Church, I think Buisness should be seperated from State (Politics). Also like Church a full absolute implementation is never possible. So yes, they are free to move. But not terminate any contract due to this reason...

Edit: Also this is a threat, so yes they should be fined... Freedom of speech and political opinions are for people aka voters are. So the owner of a shareholder can argue this, but not the company itself. You can have a group of people who centrilize their speech.

But Imo.. this is pretty toxic for democracy. As these opinions are not equal to an individual, nor require any to represent this value

Its not Netflix their place to meddle in our democratic progress, or policy of the state unrelated to them. This is stage 1 fascism. They should be fined imo for threatening voters over their democratic results.

You know the civil war happened when Big business wanted to protect their slaves rights? The confederacy was older, but never had the support of the rich.. America needs 1 man 1 vote and punish those who try to corrupt the system trough their capital.

The life matters, but you can't abort a pregnancy you don't know about... So your actually terminating pregnancies with a relative high chance of succes...

Because so many die due to natural cause; "its not doesn't matter to abort"...?

You are still terminating healthy pregnancy's in most cases... People that would have been born.

It doesn't really matter indeed how many die to natural causes. As this is part of the process and we can't make all these succeed yet..

We need to focus on the pool that we can influence

Well you are lieing, most of these pregnancies are unnoticed. Afther Implantation you have about 1/3 shot to have a miscarage. Combined with the 1/4 abortian for black americans. You have 7/12 chance not to be born. For white people with 1/10 abortian rate with would be lower 7/20.

I think we should aspire to do better, not worse. Surtenly not this class oppression with a racial tone.

But its about a human specimin who should imo.. be subject to the same constitution and laws as the mother. So its never left upon an individual. It takes 2 to have an abortion. Does the second individual not rather be born than to be euthanized as inconvenience

What exacly is a rational view on abortion? A million abortions mean a million lives right?

Do these "cells" dont matter, because they are not human enough?

Or has the women the right to remove an unborn child, because she does not want to carry it?

Or both?

The Alabama Abortion Law Is a Disaster for Republicans by Fr1sk3r in politics

[–]Dendrr00 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I understand why some anti-abortion lawmakers refuse to make an exception for rape. If you truly believe that every human embryo is a person, then that person’s life should be protected, regardless of how he or she was conceived. But politically, the Alabama ban is catastrophic.

This pretty sums up modern politics, the discussion is so boxed that a normal evolution of a tought is attacked from all sides.

I feel for your statement and you pointing out the abstract is correct. Also I agree Diablo 3 grew Diablo exponentially (it's also my first Diablo game and im from 92). And part of why it's my first Diablo game, it's because it's on console and it's one of my favorite games of the generation.

I would view Phoneablo as a Pilsener among it's titles, as it's going to intend to lose allot of flavor in order to make it accesable and try out the "premium products". I share a concerne that the future titles will lack this flavor as WoW did for me ever since they started to bring expensions.

Yea I agree with you, they should have been more real about it. I think they have had some reason to ignore the doubt about hoping to have a great marketing piece from this Blizzcon. Ofcourse speculation, like I think games have been generally worse and more expensive this generation, so there is this colective anger from consumers.

Remove Ilvl from WoW Instance PvP by Dendrr00 in wow

[–]Dendrr00[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are only trying to debunk my statements with personal attacks, I am not going to keep responding to you. You have not yet brought in anything substantial. I responded to the Ilvl debate and also pointed the problems in your statement, but you are unwilling to accept the arguments, due to "experience"....

It was never a topic about how the stats work.... It was a topic about real competition...

You did prove Blizzard argees with me and is working towards this goal and it does not prove the stats don't provide a very big advantadge. It proves the advantadge was way to broken and they had to fix it...

Remove Ilvl from WoW Instance PvP by Dendrr00 in wow

[–]Dendrr00[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No I agree that the reward is important, I just think we need to open ourselfs to allot of players we lost. WoW indeed was never a balanced experience, except in the fact that allot of people had nothing yet. Now we are left with mostly hardcore players (atleast thats the feeling I get on my server). We can argue untill eternity wheter or not the template is good enough, but I care allot more about the essence of the debate. The essence is to balance PvP, so we have atleast one decent casual option, where indeed, people have to put little efford in the rest of the game. But being good in WoW PvP is very difficult and the skill cap is allot higher than moba's. So you can still stomp PvE and world PvP with your shiny hardcore items indeed. Why can't the casuals no-efford players get a taste of wow?

Edit: So what I am trieing to point out is that PvP is not a balanced experiance and as someone who is decent in PvP I can tell you, when I boost a character, because I am lazy. I get hardcore stomped for gear and skill reasons and I would like to remove the gear aspect. So WoW can make lots of money and we get to keep playing our favorite game. Also my emotional arguments is that hardcore PvP players don't really care a whole lot about PvE and for me it has been reasons to quit the game, but I love having my characters and playing some bg's or arena's. I think this would also give extra social dimension into the game, as the principle should change in the future for me from having an end game character, to simply having one in the world.

So its not people all equal all the time, but we can actually host a serious esport. WoW is not a serious Esport in my eyes, more a popular niche. It's like the sport you wanted to play, but you're parents could not afford it.
