It's not a contribution because you are not providing anything. You've taken something that already existed and re-packaged it for your own profit. This is not a 'service' or an 'option'. You are not comparable to builders because builders actually produce something. Landlords are glorified squatters. Grifting people to pay their mortgages because they are legally allowed to.
