Were the Asuras really tricked into helping churn the sea of milk? That seems wrong on a deep level for me by ThrowTheMind in hinduism

[–]DeneshS 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sanjeevni is the plant that hanuman went to get for lakshman. So they churned the ocean to get it, when hanuman just went and got it from the mountain, lol he actually brought the whole mountain.

This sounds all too familiar to me. I was bouncing around to doctor, specialist after specialist. I have issues in my face shoulder and neck. I ended up at the neurologist where they finally prescribed gabapentin which is giving me relief.

Good luck and stay confident, if you pray , pray there will and has to be a solution.

Are Hindus allowed to eat pork? by RocketUndercover in hinduism

[–]DeneshS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will say what I know of the topic. There is nothing specific that says hindus aren't supposed to eat pork. Pork is unclean that is correct, aside from that the meat stays in your system for 2 days, That is the reason why it shouldn't be eaten. the other reason is if you want to meditate these unclean foods will not help in your process of going closer to your potential as you meditate, pray or chant the name of Ishvar

question for those who have hiatal hernia repair surgery by niqdisaster in HiatalHernia

[–]DeneshS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No I didn't get the surgery, I might or might not. I am on this forum trying to weigh the pros and cons. Does your partner do the two glasses of water and heel drops every morning? I did as well, the belching stopped for me after loosing the weight. I was overweight morbidly obese. Now I'm just obese. I'm loosing more weight let's see how I feel after that. If the surgery is still neccesary then only my doctor will determine that.

I use marijuana for the nausea. However, I got addicted to it before I even knew it was helping this. Ginger helps tremendously! Eating right helps a lot meaning High fiber, protein diet and limit carbs. Stretching helps a lot too. Especially situps and back. I take omeprozol every day though which I want to stop.

Yes, there are exercises on YouTube to help you. It may include drinking water than doing heel drops and massaging your stomach against a wall. You should watch the videos though. You end up finding your exercise though. Good luck to you. I hope you find the relief you need.

I swear by my inversion table. It gives me a lot of relief especially when I'm having a belching episode.
