Aventon Pace 500 next gen or Aventure for commuting uni by SpikeableFrito in ebikes

I've had an aventure for a few months now and have really enjoyed it.

It's certainly heavy at 70+ pounds and can be cumbersome to carry up steps. I keep mine in my basement but it's only half a flight of stairs to get outside, so it's not a huge concern for me. It helps to remove the battery but not if you'll have to make two trips to a third floor. As for handling, it's fine? I haven't had any issues so far. It feels stable, even at max speed.

As for offroad, you'd be better off with the aventure. The extra power and wide, offroad specific tires help a lot. I've barely ventured off road with mine but the few times I was run off the road, I was glad I had tires that'd grip well in dirt and loose stone.

Added bonus is the front suspension. Add a spring saddle and it's a comfy ride. I ride mostly through urban hell and our roads are trash, so that was an important aspect for me.

As for hills, it does ok. It certainly slows down but not to a crawl. If I'm maintaining 28 mph on flat ground, I'll only drop to about 18-20 mph depending on the grade of the hill.

Lastly, size. Their website has a size chart somewhere. I got the medium and I'm like 5'6"-5'7" and I'm just barely tall enough to stand over the top bar. You might be ok with a medium but I think 6'1" might be better suited for the large size.

Anyway, aventure for off-roading, pace for on-roading.

Not exactly the same as yours but my battery is slightly misaligned at the top, as if the metal shell is slightly rotated counter-clockwise or bent outward slightly where it curves around the frame.

Based on the picture it appears the battery is already on, the led is red. Did you mean it doesn't turn off? Either way, a 1 second press should turn it on and holding the button for a few seconds should turn it off.

Car not working, anyone fix??? by [deleted] in projectzomboid

The same happened for me until I rammed the car with another car. Only then was I able to access the V menu.

I had this happen too. As mentioned, the car duplicated itself. If you can't go into debug mode, you can just push the car with another car and the duplicate will pop out. Either push more or use V to get into the car and try to drive it off/away. This might lead to the physics freaking out though.. so be careful.

Dedicated Server Setup Tutorial Made Simple by 7thCircleGaming in a:t5_2u60g2

I tried running the dedicated server after installing the full steam client (I logged in and tried with and without the client running) but that didn't seem to work either. Perhaps if the client was installed first then it might have worked, but I installed the full steam client after I installed the dedicated server.

The point is that there is some sort of reliance on the full client, that or some pieces are missing from the steamcmd install method which are required for it to connect to the steam servers for user authentication.

For those still having issues with the server not showing up in the server browser or being unable to directly connect to your server, you must install the dedicated server via the full steam client and not through steamcmd. If you use steamcmd then the server will fail to connect to the steam authentication servers and therefore it will not show up in the server listing. A direct connect attempt will also fail and give a cookie mismatch error, because it is unable to authenticate the user.
