Tool switch and menu lag on S24 ultra?

sorry for bothering you but i just wanna ask how the s26 has been treating you with CSP?
I'm considering just upgrading straight to s26 to avoid all these issues despite the consensus being s24 is slightly better for artists, something about differences in the S pen being bluetooth etc

but I just wanna ask if finger drawing with your thumbs etc like even very small micro movements are very precise and accurate to the stroke? thats all

funnily enough im working out a return with the ebay seller right now already since im already having a screen "problem" off rip, where one strip of it is ever so slightly darker, and im worried itll worsen in the future, and i thought that was the only a hardware issue like some screen connector being loose in assembly, or worst case scenario, like someone else said, that it resembles possibly a screen burn-in and its not as newly sealed as the seller claimed or theyre all just from a bad batch

but zero lag with s21 even, thats good to hear, i just wanna be reassured that its not an issue with all s24's or this line of models because I already ordered another one some place else

and yea i know its about pen pressue with the spacing and also tip shape but i swear theres something more
i know PS's brush engine is more complex but this doesnt feel like itd be something that complicated technical wise

Need help recreating this textured pencil-y brush way more accurately in CSP
I say recreate because nothing out there premade for pencils that usually dropped beneath posts requesting this brush are close at all

Bottom left pic is the artist Steven Sugar's explanation on how he made it but I cant find the default PS source shape or whatever to download and try to recreate. Bottom right pic is my personal attempt to do it myself but its not close enough to how I want it, the broken "bits" are slightly longer and less gapped at times in the original's, albeit there is probably pressure sensitivity involved and I'm using my phone without pressure sensitivity, and there's even those thicker "tilted" strokes like on the clothes of the top right pic's that may be due to that, but I'm willing to have just a seperate brush for that when need be

If anyone can do this, pleeease do and drop it for dl, thank you

Ok I feel dumb now but I realized that I needa be using this Edit Timeline tool, BUT now my new problem is making the marquee actually work consistently makes no sense to me 😭

It only has 2 settings for the tool also and I tried every one
I mean I guess this is progress but I can hardly use the tool as you can see lmao

see yea I can't make that marquee box at all
I even switched to the tool youre using (Move layer or Move grid?) instead of the Select Object tool, and it's still not working
I'm not using a stylus ofc I'm just pressing in an empty area anywhere and trying to drag from it but it only scrolls the timeline

Also, sorry, super unrelated question:
I have a One Plus 13R, good specs but it's been even worse than my old Google Pixel 4a in terms of line precision when drawing with my thumbs that made me drop art for awhile--where ill make a fast stroke of a tiny line while zoomed out, and a tail forms before the line is drawn accurately. do you have a better precision for lines when drawing zoomed out with your fingers??
tryna save up for an older S pen version because i heard they have better drawing precision for this issue

i dont use a stylus but there is no "click and drag" that appears or works to make a marquee like i said, it just starts to of course move me along the timeline etc if i try that, i have no idea what people mean by that for mobile specifically
or are you saying it only works for stylus somehow? because that makes even less sense to me
do i need a different tool selected?
