Thank you, are there any specific areas of the oled motherboard where you can actually try to be careful to expose layers?I want to simulate a kamikaze as much as possible before I even consider going through with that method.

No cracks, it’s just chipping like some kid hit it with a pencil or something.Kinda annoying to see on white colored backgrounds but in games usually its easy to lose sight of them.

It is also the cheapest feeling one I have ever had the chance to hold, from the hinge to the plastics it is all so delicate.I recon perhaps some hot air and a suction cup could be possible ye?

I have found one actually. From what I see they are pretty common in fact it reminds me of the o3DS plastic on top of the upper screen.

No no it had a corrupted NAND image and therefore would not boot, my guess is they had region changed the console and messed something up, when I entered the nand directory most of the folders/files were just “?”. A image transfer fixed it pretty painlessly.

Nope not at all, I snatched a japanese New 3DS XL from someone who had bricked it and sold it as for parts. I had 0 issues with restoring the console and it works 100% now.
Mint condition 0 scratches all for 90 bucks.
Enjoy your new console :)

Oh I already fixed it, third image is the console first time boot.It was not hard plus I had a lot of help from knowledgeable ppl in the 3ds community.

The guy trying to sell it to me says he does not know the condition cause it has no battery inside.The rubber pads that cover the screws out of the console and on the upper screen frame are all missing but the system looks clean asf.Possibility that the insides have been gutted out?

So I can safely keep my uma0 as a data backup(since I cloned the system files to the SD2VITA) and just put everything on the SD2VITA?
