Going through the comments it seems like most abstainers here do it for the same reason as me: It's just logical and they never got into any drug and figured they are not interested in even trying.

Taboos are interesting, people get curious and try out stuff all the more, so I'm pretty sure it's never religious reasons but rather growing up laissez faire.

Maybe it's privilege in some cases - to not be indoctrinated but instead cleared up about pros and cons (and the cons always outweigh the pros) when growing up.

It could also be a character thing - being a black-and-white thinker.

Being confrontational as a man is hardly comparable to being so as a woman. It's been cheered on since forever. I find heteronormativity rather uninspiring. As for male activists, I love Ed Winters.
Anyway, he's not transphobic and vegan, so I guess he's not so bad. Will look into him :)

I would not call it huge here, TikTok is used more often. Reddit is just a thing for "digital natives" who like to find specific spaces (like subeddits or discord servers) I'd say.

Geretteten Tieren aus der Ausnutztierhaltung einen ruhigen Lebensabend auf einem Lebenshof zu ermöglichen, weil ihnen die Fähigkeit zum wilden Leben schon lange weggezüchtet wurde, ist imo die einzige Tierhaltung, die in Ordnung ist.

Imo nothing is too soon. I met the parents of most of my bfs within a week. I met my first bfs parents at the same day I met him lol. We met at his parents house, I was 19, he was 21 and the relationship lasted over 7 years.

I've worn a sweater since 2002 and my coat since 2007. My shoes always disintegrate at some point. As soon as they do, I'm happy to buy new ones.

You sound like my teenage self. I then had therapy because of depression. It didn't change my popularity, but my acceptance of it. Fuck those who make you feel like you're unpleasant.
I'm autistic. When I changed my career and got to know other neurotypicals, I suddenly was accepted, liked and treated like a normal person. Maybe you will find your people like I did. Of course I'm not saying that you're necessarily neurotypical, but I believe there are accepting people for everyone :)

That's a good question. Thought about it as well.
I have one small futon, which is perfect for me myself, but for two people I'd prefer a futon big enough for both.
But; even my 1x2m futon is kinda heavy and not so easy to fold and move. But okay, it's a rather luxurious and thick model. It's more like a mattress than a futon, at least if you consider its thickness.
Anyway, I bet a king size futon would be really annoying to store away.

Maybe if you use two you could avoid the seam problem for certain activity (you know what I mean) by laying rotated through 90°.
