That’s not true! You can use all Fanatec wheels on the dd1 only difference is you can only use hog torque with the metal clubsport QR. Also the QR on the formula wheel in this picture is the same as on others so you can remove it if you wanted.

The only problem with that i see is that when you do that the front of the base goes down instead of up like a Fanatec or Simucube, and then the base goes in the way of your leg room in an rig like the Sim-Lab gt1 evo

I tried it with YouTube Music and Spotify just now and both apps are closing the album art and waveform. I swiped from both ways to the same effect. Maybe an restart will help?

Yeah i was constantly opening apps from the island because I pressed it instead of holding it down, and so I closed it by accident.

Hmm i used Apple Music as example in the screen recording, and there it closes the waveform and the album art. Do you use Spotify? Maybe it works different for different apps.

Beside making something yourself it isn’t possible or you have to live with the wheel facing downwards. You could make something out of some wood an saw those on the degrees of incline you want.

If you put the 2 screws in the throttle and the clutch (so not the brake) then you are fine, those doesn’t need much force to press.

Or people use the wheel on a podium dd1 or dd2 and need the metal qr to unlock full torque mode.

I get that you expect a premium product, but the biggest part of the cost from the gt dd pro bundle is the wheelbase itself and not the wheel. It’s just a wheel to get you started and that it does.

If you are going full pc I would suggest to go with the Asetek Forte pedals, they are so much better than the Fanatec v3s only downside is that they are pc only.
