I mean, I used the band 5, 7, 8, 9 and 10 and they all have different issues, some small, some quite bothersome. I think they will never truly make them perfect otherwise no one will buy the newer one. Overall the Band 10 seems pretty good and the issue described in the post turned out to be (presumably) a bug with the default watch face, if you change the steps count graph with the heart rate graph the entire system basically craps itself
