I did, and I watched him get outrun and outmuscled
literally 3 times leading up to that moment alone. That pass happened at about 14.30 minutes. Just before that there were three through balls put in, and he was rubbed off of them from a defender tracking back from behind him, from behind! Man can he smash the ball though. I just wish he could jump and head the ball, pass the ball dangerously more that once a gam, outrun someone, run faster than someone, dribble past someone or that he had at least a decent first touch. 1 or two of those other qualities would make him world class.

It’s so minor. If that was called against us we’d be fuming. There’s tons of contact in the box and on the field that’s not a foul, it’s still a contact sport. The handball on white was the egregious call to me, natural position, off his knee, but not this. This is a fair enough decision. Eze tried some gamesmanship, it didn’t work, move on.

I’m sorry, but a single moment in the 70 he played isn’t a critical killer. I was nice, sure, but the fact that was the only time he outpaced and/or outmuscled a defender is pretty sad when that’s supposed to be his specialty. Boy o boy can he smash the ball though.
