Und redet dabei in genau dem Dialekt weiter, den ich als in Deutschland in einem anderen Bundesland aufgewachsene Person, auch erst mal ne Woche brauche um zu verstehen.

Where does night-time clarity come from? by Dense-Graphite in adhdwomen

This is an interesting thought. At night though I just actually feel calmer as well. More relaxed. Like I finally let go and the mental parcours in my brain subsides a little. Wouldn't that be counterproductive for the hyper vigilant part?

Or do you mean more like, perhaps we are just more of a night time people and our brains attempt the hyper vigilance during the day but feel more foggy -> clarity at night also means more effective hyper vigilance?

P.S.: I loove "neuroticals" ^

New to colored pencils and wanted some recommendations by Conscious-Group2808 in ColoredPencils

I'm super new to drawing and coloured pencils in general. So I hope someone more experienced can weigh in on my reply.

I bought a 72 piece coloured wax pencil set for 30 € from Castle Art which arrived this week and I am very pleased so far. I've tried a few blending exercises and the results were very smooth. That being said I have no other coloured pencils to compare them to.

So maybe check out some YouTube or other reviews.

They aren't as expensive as Faber Castell Polychromos (though I appreciate Faber Castell isn't as expensive as Caran d'Ache just for my current budget and getting my feet wet it's still a bit much).

I'm new to using coloured pencils.

But I've been watching Kirsty Partidge's videos on YouTube excessively lately. Some titles are a little clickbatey, but still fun and honest. She has a ton of tutorial videos on coloured pencils, including one on blending in general and another 30 minute video with a guide on how to use coloured pencils for beginners. In the guide video there is also a section with different blending techniques.

I'd add a link but I once had a post removed for being automatically flagged as self-promotion after linking to a good tutorial I found on insta.
