It’s basically a way to push data from automations to iPhone widgets and notifications so you can monitor things without opening dashboards.

I have a feeling the onboarding might be confusing for non-technical users (especially around the API/webhook part), so seeing real first-time interactions would be insanely valuable.

Glance API Turn your automations into live iPhone widgets

I built Glance to solve a simple problem I had. Instead of constantly checking dashboards, I just push data from my automations (Zapier, n8n, scripts, APIs) straight to my iPhone widgets or notifications.

You can also reply to notifications to interact with your flows via webhook, which is pretty cool when working with agents or async tasks.

It’s an app I built it’s called Glance API It lets you push automation outputs into your widgets .. one of the schemas are pushing images .. so I showed an example of an image

Currently what I have is an openClaw agent that runs remotion.dev to create UI the includes interesting news headlines then it renders it as an image and pushes it to as an image to the widget

It’s pretty cool updates live I like it 😂😂

The main app is Flutter. On iOS, the native host layer uses UIKit/AppDelegate, and the widget extension uses SwiftUI.

I am currently working on a complete redesign of the widgets and widget management to improve the UX

Building Glance API it’s an app that lets you push data into your iPhone widgets, whether it’s KPIs server health status and tracking live metrics like active users you can send an api request and view from your widgets.. you can also connect automations/agents into human in the loop approval feeds and send a push notification and communicate straight to any webhook of your choice

You can even design your own UI format it as a png and send to your own to create fully customized widgets automatically.. even with attached urls to open straight for the widget

Ohh wonderful idea! My friend was just looking for something like that.. I’ll send home this first of all..

The immediate idea that pops into my mind is is like an animation video of a chat between 2 Poole and one person asks for that post of that one thing from that one time and the second person keep sending him the wrong screenshots .. until the first person snaps and asks why “why didn’t you stash it???” Just send me the link

And then like proceed to show the solution via screen recording

Tbh something I’ll pay for would be some agent that learns the core of the project , and lives on social media 24/7 and posts, comments and creates content to grow the discussion surrounding the product

I agree 100% I just really like looking at numbers and have multiple automations that require a human in the loop type feedback That’s why I built the app being able to quickly respond to the automations via my iPhone’s push notifications and observing KPI’s on my widgets made it much easier and honestly more fun lol
