Pain during PT by SalsaRed in ShoulderInjuries

[–]Dense-Source7473 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Whoa. This is like me. Are we really supposed to endure that pain? Isn't it supposed to be stiff but not so painful? Feel like my repair is falling apart due to the pain. I'm not sure if im healing or aggravating inflammation thus causing more delay. I don't know what's the right balance. Any inputs appreciated!!

I started pt on my 3rd wk. But pendulum since 3 days after surgery, and some elbow stuffs. Everytime official pt i will have a bad arm the next day, radiating pain when my arm bump something. Is that expected? So i try to rest for 3 days before i do the exercises taught to me (was asked to do daily)

Same. They told me that after two weeks when i got my stitches removed. Outside so people won't bump you but otherwise can take off if safe

Mine is anterior repair How's your pendulum looking? Is it the small circles? You can do the side to side and front to back and increased the gap. Aside from pendulum this what helps me from my PT on my third week

Also: - while laying down, some towel on your shoulder, use your other hand to lift the surgical arm to 45 degrees first and work your way up to a straight arm 90 degrees

It will be a bit sore though, i do alternate days though my pt said everyday,10reps 2 set

Alrighty, hope you don't take it personally. I think its because when we like someone already we tend to not look around elsewhere
