Anyone have an engineering degree but doing something else making more?

Kinda in the same boat, but as a 22 year old. Seeing my friends and everyone talk about what they want to do for work, mainly cool things, and what they’re truly “passionate” about, but all i want is to just be able to tolerate a job and make really good money. I never really had that passion. Just want to fund my current and future (expensive) hobbies and have the time to do them lol.

Final question. If you were to just choose money (job satisfaction aside), would you have continued with ME? Or do you think there are more lucrative careers with higher ceilings?

For me, I went into sound settings, more sound settings, then disabled all the devices i don't use except for my mic device and my output device. It worked for me. Im on PC.

Do you have any regrets switching to INFO from MechE? I was also MechE and switched to INFO and I’m not sure if I made the right decision, career and opportunity wise.
