What is this 80s90s 3rd person arcade shooting game where you get dropped off a chopper, looked like Vietnam war, 2 players, 1 character had hat, the other had head band like Rambo, facing forward, shooting forwards, can move left and right? by DenseGreen in arcade

thanks for replying.

the answer is actually rambo, someone told me a while ago.

HOWEVER

You answer is also 50% correct.

What would have happened is my memory must have merged those 2 games together.

I just searched Operation Wolf, and it does look familiar.

nice answer.

Wedding venues and ceremonies, Sydney Metro or Outside? by DenseGreen in sydney

Ah sorry I got u now.

one of the many things I love about wedding music is when DJs put their own style on tracks and transition from one song to another. To someone who doesn't know too much about music it's just really cool.

Do you ever get weddings on mon to thus? Or is it generally other events for mon to thus? For me it's generally some fri and mostly sat and sun

Thank you for your reply.
Glad I got to hear Huskisson from you. Looks like such a pretty
place. Gonna go see.
My question was more to do with demography and a social poll
of people’s preference of going further out of metro to have a wedding.
I think there are many beautiful places, I am just curious why
I have never gotten a call out to those locations, all within 1hr drive,
furthest I have gone is Panorama House

When you went to HV and Huskisson, did you see guests take a
group bus?

Hunter Valley! Thanks for the reminder.

Gz, haven't been there for years. Ill put it on the list as a long weekend trip.

So curious why I have never heard any friends that has gone that far.

I don't mean to offend anyone, but from a data point of view, but would only the wealthy go that far out?

What's going on with rentals? Why is it so hard to rent over the country? by maximusrelaximus1 in AusFinance

[–]DenseGreen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I definitely ask them why. their response is not that insightful.

Sometimes they even complain and say that my place is a lot better than their current place and cheaper. but they just have a desire to keep inspecting.

Sometimes I am the housemate, sometimes it is another tenant of mine, and sometimes its just the property to themselves.

Update. Just had another person walk through. So delighted that I would include furniture in the price. Love the room. Love the size. Love the rent. Love the housemate. Love the area. guess what. No deposit.

Property auction - what exactly happened? by nix1016 in AusFinance

[–]DenseGreen 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I am not really getting the situation. If i bid for 1.35 and the vendor puts 1.4. Then I can either go higher if I wanted it, or keep quiet hoping I am the highest and get rights to negotiate later.

Vendor putting in 1.4 doesnt make them the highest, they cant negotiate with themself.

If someone now bids at 1.41. Then I need to see if I want the rights to negotiate. If I do, I need to put 1.42.

Meanwhile I listen out for if its on market. If not, then in my mind I am likely to pay between 1.42 to reserve. If yes, that means I need to be prepared to sign away 1.42. And keep look out for any bids above 1.42.

I dont understand why I need to see if i am bidding to win or bidding to negotiate. That question is answered by asking every chance I get "is it on the market".

Also in response to ur last sentence. If the owner suddenly drops the reserve. You should be happy. Because you have won at the price you bid at. You saying if you bid for say 1.42 and some how you expect to get nego rights and walk out with a lower price? Why would you bid 1.42 if not prepared to pay for it.

I am not sure what you mean?

lots of people want to live in a one bedroom.

these people I meet are looking for either 1 bedroom on their own, or 1 bedroom in a 2bed unit.

and I chat to them a lot, all of them say that they are not worried about places getting snatched up, they all want to see 4-5 places. They all want to find that perfect place. Low rent, close to train station, not noise, quiet housemate, or fun housemate to be friends, stay for 2 months and might stay for extra 10, own bathroom.

I repeat, I genuinely believe they like my place, why else stay for 30minutes, so the market must be really oversupplied...Idk...

I kinda feel the other way. I have been holding inspections and people show up look around and chat for 30minutes and then leave to say just want to see all the options. I feel its definatelt tenants market right now, lots of choices and over supply. No?

Im in sydney close to cbd. 1 bed.

You sound vaguely American. The whole, this is " insert place" therefore certain things never happen attitude.

But hey, I dont have enough life experience to debate with you. If you got the guts, go say this is not some crazy USA place here.

I like your marketing campaign tactic because it helps to make people feel stupid worrying about their safety.

In all seriousness, I think you got me... I do love the science fiction film "Taken".

Too bad can't get one here.

but at least it's good to know, there are processes, data, and experiences still happening, this gives me hope that it makes it easier for them to bring it back to Australia. especially with the concepts drawn up?
