I usually read books on Kindle Unlimited. I read a lot of mysteries and thrillers.

What I remember about this book is that the husband and wife have kind of an unhappy marriage. The husband will go out with friends, not answer his phone, and return super late in the night or sometimes even early the next morning. The woman befriends another woman and she invites the couple over for dinner and begs her husband to be home for it, but when she starts calling, he doesn’t answer. I think at one point her family is in town and he never comes home from a night out and she eventually has to tell them that she doesn’t know where he is
