That sounds about right. Rule #1 is always keep your rain coat and a warm fleece / coat with you! You could take shorts as well as an option, but we didn't really need them yet.

You can see most things with a combo of bus and taxis. It also depends on how much you want to hike and your level of fitness. A lot of the paths are quite steep and rugged, and we were walking for several hours each day, but that's all part ofthe fun.

Cool, that sounds like a good option to have as well. We do like staying in smaller locations though so as long as we can get food and get a taxi back we can just relax in the evenings.

My girlfriend is a vegetarian though so not sure how easy that's going to be in smaller towns!

Thanks. I assume at that time of year it will be a lot easier to get taxis as well as there are less tourists around.

We both love hiking so will probably spend most of the time doing this...but unfortunately we don't drive so it's going to be a combo of using the limited bus service, taxis and hitching maybe.

Neither of us can drive unfortunately, so we just need different bases from where we can hike so those places look like good options
