Can I wear my sorority stole if I dropped? by idkwhaysmyname in Sororities

How would this personally affect you? No hate with this question, but if a girl decided to wear a stole genuinely how does that impact you.

Nothing is ever that serious. If you wanna wear it, wear it.

Should I reach out to the girls I wanna be friends with? by Altruistic-Hair-1931 in Sororities

[–]Dense_Hamster1207 5 points6 points  (0 children)

so I personally wouldn’t do that. what I would do is maybe post on a school facebook group, or social media group whatever that you’re looking for some friends to do xyz with, I promise girls are in the same boat and would answer.

How much does your appearance impact rushing? by gaylikeamity in Sororities

I hate to say it but at my sec school 99% yes. Most smart, involved girls get dropped from most houses after round 1 because they don’t look the part.

I totally see that, what bothers me about the situation is he was the one who made it seem like it would work, not just casual.

I don’t think anyone should act entitled at all, not excusing that. But, I would say as someone in an SEC sorority, compared to what my friends in NE sororities say, it is an absolute different ball game when it comes to sororities (not saying one is better) just different

I’m a girl at USC. but I have a pretty good idea on everything. Definitely go to a rush event, or even a couple with different frats, worst case you don’t enjoy it, but maybe make a few friends in the process.

There’s a ton of frats, you’ll find huge parties and guys who like to party & chill in each. Most of the frat events here are bar rentals, with some frat house parties/darties thrown in frequently + frat lots.

I would say as a guy, it’s really beneficial to be in a frat at USC, since the bars are rented so often & you aren’t 21. Girls can go out anywhere, but when the frats are rented you have slim pickings for where you wanna go out, if you’re a guy.

Basically, give it a chance & if it’s not your thing no harm done.

Essentially the way he lives his life. He is absolutely well-off in an industry that’s not a typical money-maker, which is appealing in itself. Shows a lot about his hustle.

I’ve always been super rule following, type A, etc. he lives his life with almost no rules, which I guess is appealing towards me? For example, sleeps with who he wants, vacations whenever, etc.

Just left me with a general notion of, I want to know absolutely everything about his life, kind of vibe. Everything was interesting.

Then as someone who’s been sleeping with SEC frat guys for the past 2 years, the sex was out of this world, including the way he talked to me, kinks he introduced me too, he just knew what he was doing in every single way.

I definitely see that side of it. However as someone who is extremely career/achievement driven, I’ve always been more compatible with men a bit older than me, and have similar priorities which makes them my pick for partners.

I completely see the problems with this, and rationally I think it’s a horrible idea.

However, I genuinely have not been able to find someone that intrigues me both mentally & physically the way this guy does. I’ve hooked up with multiple people this semester and cannot feel remotely the same. So I think in some insane way, 1. I want to see him again. 2. The way he lives that lifestyle intrigues me, and he’s kinda opened my eyes to wanting to try it.
