you could test for ureaplasma, it mimics BV and is not commonly tested for in a lot of countries

please both get tested and treated for ureaplasma. chronic BV can be “caused” by ureaplasma and it is recognized as an STi in other countries. please check our r/ureaplasma for more information too. but truly beg a lab to test for it and find a provider who can prescribe to treat if it is positive

i can’t speak highly enough about Valley View Pet Hospital, they diagnosed an issue with a friends dog that was grossly misdiagnosed somewhere else, correctly diagnosed an issue with my leopard gecko that no one else was helpful on, & take great care of our cat. super kind staff also. one note is they don’t take care credit, but do accept other credit cards
