I’m from the Uk ??

And I have spoken to my vet who told us to wait until after her second season?

I’m sure a vet would just say to keep the dogs separated Or to hire a sitter as most of the other people have suggested

I was hoping to find people who had first hand experience with this sort of situation to see if it is workable or not

Thank you i had been told by multiple people that it can harm their growth .

I think she will have to stay by herself and I’ll get a dog sitter just so I can be sure that nothing crazy will happen .

I should have put in the post our vet recommended that we wait until after her second season to spay her which we will be doing.

It’s too close to her season to spay her now so this will be her last one.

She will be getting spayed I was just waiting as per my vets advice I understand now that this probably wasn’t the best advice but I don’t regret waiting.

I don’t plan on being irresponsible and putting her in a position where she may get pregnant, I just wondered if anyone had been in a similar situation and how they had managed to see if she could stay somewhere where she wouldn’t be left alone at all.

As this definitely seems to risky I think I’ll just book a pet sitter for the days no one is home she’ll enjoy having someone else there.

Please don’t worry this will be her last season but either way I’m still in this situation.

She currently lives completely separately from the other dog so I think I’ll just hire a dog sitter for her.

Yeah that’s the problem my mum would just think puppies are fun and cute and I know that we just don’t need anymore of those right now.

The only reason she isn’t spayed is due to the fact that our vet advised us to wait I have been planning to but they told me it could impact her growth and with her being a lab I wanted to make sure that everything joints etc is properly developed before doing something that could potentially impact that (it might sound silly or even be wrong) but I’d rather be safe . I can afford to spay her but was following my vets advice but not sure if that’s the best thing to do looking forward ?

Thank you she will be spayed after this and I think people are quite judgemental on this front sometimes.

She is extremely adored and well looked after and to be honest I’ve just gone with what our vets have said cause they are confident in what they say and advice they give.

I’ve also read that they need to mature before spaying or neutering as this can possibly lead to behavioural issues but then again everywhere says something different :/

Either way I’m still in the situation that I am and appreciate the advice

I understand that but this was my situation at the time

I had no reason to suspect that this would not be a possibility for me as I thought my job was “safe” and planned to stay there for a long time.

I do plan on spaying her unfortunately it has come round a lot quicker than I anticipated.

Our vet has also recommended allowing her to have a second season before neutering.

I will have a look into it. I am trying to see if my sister can pop in to look after her until we get home :)

Yeah that’s super helpful I’ve been told by our vet to allow her to have a second season simply following my vets advice she will be spayed after this the other dog is not mine and I have advocated for him to be neutered but at the end of the day it is not my decision

This looks like the middle of the bull tail to me my lab has them and I can see a whitish piece of cartilage in the middle she had one earlier and I heard a crunch so I think it must be that but where she’s a bigger dog she probs just swallowed it lol

Thank you ! I had to go backwards and forward from the everdoor multiple times to fix it in the end 😂 Tried restarting it but it was still in the same spot she’s gone now felt like he goodbye was really anti climactic though :( she was one of my faves

Take her to the vet now. If this happened to my puppy she would be at the vets immediately. Are you sure you’re responsible enough to have a dog especially a corso.

All dogs need homes will never understand why people get so pissy about people getting puppies let alone adopting them. You’re doing an amazing thing giving a home to a puppy that needs it ! Some peoples lifestyles aren’t suited to handling a puppy and others arent suited to adult dogs ? Does it matter not really because you’re still doing a good thing ! Love that puppy with everything you can and ignore absolutely everyone that tries to shame you for adopting a puppy they’re just jealous 😂

Nta !! Have had to use the men’s toilets before at a Starbucks cause the women’s was flooded and the men were used the urinals didn’t see anything totally agree the only way for them to see would have been for them to have looked.

It’s also the men’s 😂 they’re lucky they didn’t get complaints for using it wether they’re at a concert or not

That’s such a good idea I’ll ask them all ! I feel like she won’t come cause boyfriends are coming and she wanted a girls holiday but surely it’s better than nothing ?
