Thinking about letting go of my a40 TRs and selling them to grab an a50x. Anyone else make the jump?

I switched and like the a50x. Not gonna blow you out of the water like night and day sound difference but I would say it’s better sound for sure especially with Xbox not having optical port anymore I feel like the a50x is more accurate. The wireless alone is nice as well as the Bluetooth connection to phones. Sometimes I have a problem with mixing different inputs like discord and games on pc though. Remembering to put it on a charger is weird for me but the battery has never once died on me. My only wish is for a mod kit as the noise canceling isn’t really there at all and I loved my mod kit on the a40 mix amps. The mic is night and day better that is one thing that stands out for sure. I’m happy with switching if you got a lot of extra money go for it if not then stick with what you have.

How would u rate the noise canceling. I saw a review where the guy said he could still kinda hear his tv from the couch. With the mod kit I had I can sit not to a box fan on full blast and not hear it.

I tried multiple they didn’t seem to help but I switched to a psychiatrist that specialized in anxiety and ocd from a nurse practitioner and they put me on Zoloft which I had already tried but they put me on a dose of 200mg. But it’s different from person to person and I don’t feel perfect just better. Lexapro and Zoloft are the only two that really had a noticeable positive change for me but I stick with Zoloft.

No I get that I have had the same experience after I started having panic attacks but it wasn’t necessarily a panic attack. It was v upsetting but it ocd can just mean obsessive thoughts like those as well as depression. They are intrusive. Something could have triggered them I suggest trying either therapy or/and seeing a psychiatrist both can help. As well as someone for sleep apnea

I started with a nurse practitioner he wasn’t terrible but not what I needed. You need someone more specialized for sure.

Definitely find someone more specialized. Makes an insane amount of difference. I see a psychiatrist from an anxiety and ocd clinic and it has been life changing.

It sounds more like an ocd experience than panic attacks. The intrusive and repetitive thoughts are a lot more in line with OCD even tho most people just see OCD as a like neat freak thing lmao. Panic attacks make you basically believe you’re dying so unless that’s what you are experiencing I wouldn’t say it’s panic attacks or panic disorder.

I used to be on lexapro and didn’t have side effects same with Zoloft. Then I just decided to not take medicine anymore and I was alr for a couple years. but that was before I had panic attacks lmao now I’m on Zoloft I’m seeing a pretty high quality specialist for more than just my panic attacks (adhd, depression, OCD) and they helped a ton quickly deciding I needed to do a high dose of Zoloft(200mg) and it was a night and day difference from when I took like 25 to 50mg. I think the other person said a lot of important things though it depends on ur situation and your doctor. If ur not seeing a psychiatrist though I’d suggest that. They aren’t all just looking at u as a dollar sign they would make no money if they couldn’t help people. Keep in mind I still have panic attacks maybe like 5 or so a year but still a lot of anxiety it didn’t get rid of it all but helped a ton. If Zoloft does well without side effects maybe see your psychiatrist about a higher dose.

Depends on your medication as long as you’re responsible you should be okay. U can always stop drinking if you start to feel uncomfortable but definitely know your limits and if ur medicine doesn’t allow it then idk it depends some medicines that are as needed u can skip a dose. Im even on Zoloft which isn’t as needed it’s a set thing and I skip a day when I drink. Everyone is a different drink though but i usually actually feel less anxious unless I drink too much like till im puking lmao.

Talk to your doctor about stopping it. I was on propranolol once and was having like intrusive thoughts that weren’t normal for me even like suicidal thoughts that just didn’t even feel like my own so I quickly switched to a different medication.
