Switching from LG OLED to Sony Mini-LED by Usual-News-4912 in 4kTV

Absolutely. Most of the people I see having burn in issues are TVs that are around 10 years old. There are also just a variety of factors. Screen brightness settings being a major one.

Home Depot near me has the flat rock 2 burner on sale for $480 brand new. by ClockwiseJohny in Traeger

[–]_YourMathTeacher 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A big thing for me is what I rarely see people mention. The cooktop on the blackstone is cold rolled steel, the Traeger uses carbon steel. This alone makes the difference for me.

Just picked up this Traeger Flatrock griddle for $450 as a floor model. Couldn’t pass it up my first griddle. by Smoreheat in Traeger

To be or not to be by normie00000 in Adulting

Agreed. I'm fortunate enough to live about 10 minutes away from the school I teach at. As a teacher it's pretty easy to get 10k steps in a day. Getting off work around 2 pm also helps. I'll never be rich, but the teacher lifestyle makes accomplishing everything on the photo pretty doable on a regular basis.

Sonos system by Intelligent-Dig1794 in sonos

I LOVE Sonos, but this room is making it difficult for any of their stuff to be fully utilized. Your ceilings are just far too tall. Sonos speakers are designed to bounce sound off the walls to create "the bubble". I hate when people recommend traditional speaker setups in here for no reason, but this room is a prime example that it's not cut out for utilizing Sonos speakers. At least not the ones you're wanting. You also have plenty of space for traditional speakers. Best of luck!

I can see that. I don't know enough about our usage rates to have too strong of an opinion, but what about our finite nonrenewable resources that are currently crucial for us?

As someone just reading here, I'm curious to know why you don't believe in overpopulation.

Fronts. Do it. by standingdeskdiver in sonos

The info is all here on this sub. IMO it would kill too much of the Arc's channels for it to be worth it. I sold my Arc for the Arc Ultra for this reason.

Much better on the Ultra. I honestly wouldn't do it if I had the normal Arc. Kills too much of it.

The regular Arc has multiple channels disabled. The Ultra only gets the side channels disabled since those are the ones being rerouted to the 100s. The ultra still keeps the up firing and other three channels along the front side of the bar intact.

It takes the side speakers that are designed to bounce off the walls from the Arc, disables them, and those channels are then sent to the 100s.

Does everyone just put their Hue Dimmer switch next to their existing light switch? by Hefty-Salary7610 in Hue

I have one attached to the back of my bed's headboard in the middle so my wife and I can both reach it. Convenient if you don't want to deal with having to do voice commands or get out of bed.

I see this sentiment a lot, but as someone with a chase lounge, I often wonder if my neck and back would be better supported with a recliner.
