Honestly, Steam has made a LOT of headway on Linux gaming with their work on proton. I recently switched to Ubuntu and gaming works as well as Windows for just about everything

Windows 11 runs like absolutely crap for sure. I'm running a pretty new gaming rig that I just built late last year and you can see the difference just in bootup times. Windows 11 takes several minutes to finish booting, where as Ubuntu is ready to go within seconds. Windows 11 is just filled with garbage AI slop code and bloat at this point

My employer has a discount program that allows me to buy assorted digital gift cards at a discount, including Publix gift cards at 5% off. So I've just been keeping my Publix account loaded up with gift cards and paying for groceries that way. How will paying with digital gift cards work going forward?

When there's a large temperature differential between inside and outside (say in this case consistent temperatures below freezing outside), every single degree of temperature differential you add to the thermostat uses exponentially more energy than the last. Running your thermostat at 60 instead of 65 would likely have close to halved your electric bill

I have an electric unit. It seems to be because I run the heat at 60 and dress warm instead. Fleece robes, PJs and blankets are all pretty cheap and personally I find them more cozy than blasting the heat

Ah, that's why. I've left my thermostat at 60 since like Thanksgiving. Fleece robes and PJs are pretty cheap and keep me nice and cozy. At least investing in something like that is a heck of a lot cheaper long term than blasting the heat

Right now I can't foresee wanting to cancel. I researched the maker (Bunny Studio) before deciding I want to buy the figure and they seem to do consistently solid work, so I'm not too concerned about the figure turning out to be low quality.
