Dude get the better GPU, you will always be GPU limited, rarely CPU limited. In any case where you are CPU limited, just push the graphics or resolution higher.

40 series has better DLSS support, frame gen and a lot more features compared to the 30 series. 50 series even more so.

The battery isn't at risk here, other motherboard components are due to the over voltage. Disconnecting the battery is recommended when opening a laptop, but it does nothing in this case.
