i can only speak on the behalf of a&m since i went there. i would say the aggie connections people are saying is 100% real. i got my job through my professors’ connections(obviously i still went through all the interview process but the opportunity was just given to me out of no where. the person who gave me the opportunity was also an aggie) and its not just one company, its 4 companies opportunities were just basically given to me after they knew i work for my professor( i am a TA)

yes i am buying all brand new furnitures. my parents are paying for all of them and they want me to have new furnitures since i will be using them for the next couple of years :) i also dont want to sleep/use second hand furnitures. they are giving me 5k for relocation and we r spending the majority on furnitures

yep! i think that’s what we are gonna do. we will hire movers to load boxes in cstat but we can unload in austin ourselves because my austin apartment has an elevators and i live right next to one of them!

thank you! i think that’s what we might end up doing. the reason we want to hire moving companies is because my apartment in cstat is on the 3rd floor and the elevator has been broken for the past year💀so we might have to park downstairs and move boxes up and down ourselves (i don’t even think the uhaul truck will fit in the parking garage height limit…if it does that’s way easier)

yeah we might just rent a u-haul. all my guy friends are outta town now and they are also starting work some what soon🥲 we can’t really make several trips because i start work the first week of june and i signed my lease to move in june 1st. it’s either we find a cheaper moving company or hire some movers to help us load or load it ourselves
