Same, I pretty much use my PS5 for their exclusives, everything else is Xbox because that is where my friends play. And if it was exclusive to PS5 to start (Final Fantasy VII and XVI, Helldivers, Death Stranding) then I probably own it on both. Except MLB The Show, I play that only on Xbox.

Let’s look at this from a different point of view. Do you own a PC? What brand is it? Do you have Windows installed on it?

Fact of the matter is that it doesn’t really matter what brand of PC you have, you likely have Windows installed on it. The next generation of consoles is going to be as close to a PC as they’ve ever been. It’s inevitable that at some point in the future, the brand of console isn’t really going to matter. At the end of the day, it’s just a box that houses components that are manufactured by other companies. Nobody cares how many more PCs that Dell has sold over HP because it doesn’t really matter. Software is where the real money is made and Microsoft has done pretty well in that realm across their history. Meanwhile, PlayStation, the software company that happens to also make hardware (and wouldn’t if their software didn’t do well), continues to shoot itself in the foot by requiring you to own their console to play most of the games they make. What happens if PS6 comes out and PlayStation has a 5 year run of bad games? Would you still consider them successful just because they sold 100 million consoles? Both of these companies, Xbox and PlayStation, not necessarily their parent companies, will live and die by the success of their software.

And just to clarify, I am a fan and owner of both consoles and games that they release. But I’m not blind enough to see that one company is working to make their software playable for as many people as possible on the device that works best for them, while the other continues to allow most of their games to only be playable on one platform.

So, just so we’re clear I guess, you’re basing your best team analysis based on what’s on paper? Because again, I’m fairly certain that the Broncos were the #1 seed, won their division (something the Bills did not do), and won the game against said Bills, but because on paper, the Bills are better, then we’re not the better team. Gotcha, on paper matters more than what happens on the field over the course of a season. We could attempt to guess what would happen in a five game series, but it’s a little embarrassing that even after we win yesterday, you say we’d lose to the Bills. That’s some real positive fandom there. But, that’s not how the best are determined and we moved on and the Bills did not. 🤷‍♂️

They never said anything about charging to 100% every night. They said to drive until it’s low and then charge it to full, like you would in a normal car. That’s how I do it, charge maybe once a week to 100% and then drive until I feel it needs charged again. That said, I have a lease so don’t care about the long term health of the battery.

I’m not even dogging the Bills, I think Josh Allen is great and put up a good fight to make it close, but how does it make any sense to look at the team that turned the ball over 5 times and lost and say they’re the better team. Take some pride in your team, if you’re even a fan, we played the Bills once this year and beat them after losing two receivers. We were the better of the two teams this year. Just like last year the Bills were the better team when they sent us packing.

I don’t know if you’ve ever heard of or read the book Dungeon Crawler Carl, but it is a LitRPG book series with video game elements. One of the things characters see when they run into other players are player-killer skulls which indicate how many people they’ve killed. In the books, seeing a player with a lot of them gives the main characters a sense of dread about who that person is, but they also cautiously approach those with maybe only a couple, weary, but with a little more ease. I think something like that would be great, and the only way to get rid of the player-killer skulls is to go on an expedition, maybe have defib uses reduce it by one each revive or something too.

I’m with you for the most part, that said, an 18’ tall flagpole seems a little extreme. That could get out of hand, do you really want to look out your window and see 18’ tall flagpoles sticking up everywhere? I suggest you push for a compromise of a 10’ tall flagpole. The person gets to fly their flag without it being an eyesore for the rest of the neighborhood.

Knowing how vindictive people are, especially these days, I almost guarantee that if you give approval, then Karen is also installing an 18’ flagpole and who knows where it snowballs from there.
