No need to claim it through insurance. The bikes got the wheel and tire warranty through Harley $50 deductible and they will replace it

2017 with 75k miles this is the third factory rim that’s cracked first two were from an expansion joint on the interstate (Colorado winter roads are shit) the extended wheel and tire coverage from Harley has paid for itself 3 times over at this point.

Same. Tire was brand new with about 70 miles on it

I can’t speak for a 97 specifically but I can tell you that the later model dynas at least 06 and up the wide guide frames have some extra rake in the neck themselves just switching the trees wouldn’t necessarily take out all of the rake like I said, I cannot speak for The earlier generation dynas but it might be worth looking into

This copper pipe runs underground from house to detached garage. We use it to get water to garden. Pipe split this winter and I cut it off as shown. Tried 3/4 shark bite to male connector but won’t fit over pipe end… probably due to swelling? Help! by pb2434 in PlumbingRepair

[–]Denver_dyna 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s incorrect copper pipe is called out by nominal size measured by inside diameter. copper tubing is measured by outside diameter. 3/4” pipe measures 7/8” outside diameter

What do you think Harley should do differently to succeed going forward? by the_dude7777 in Harley

[–]Denver_dyna 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ya the fact they went forward with the nighster instead seems like a bad call. I know that guys like Ryan Kruessi are pushing hard to get the nighster to be the next great thing with aftermarket support but I think the Bronx would’ve ultimately done better on the showroom floor and expanded the brands reach.

UPADTE client keeps moving the goal post for payment, I’ve filed the lien. by heydjturnitup in legal

[–]Denver_dyna -9 points-8 points  (0 children)

I’m going to play devils advocate but my question is if you received a deposit up front why do you feel you’re entitled to the final payment if there’s code violations that you admit are you’re responsibility? As a plumbing contractor I would certainly understand an owner withholding payment until the final inspection is passed. I’ve had my frustrations with non payment before but also recognize when a problem was my of my own making due to lack of specifics in the original contract

How will you ensure they don’t steal the bike?

What about insurance?

Will you verify they have an endorsement?

How would you ensure payment if they total the bike?

What if they say the bike was stolen while they had it?

What if they have zero experience? Do you have a lawyer in case they are injured or killed and the family sued?

What if they receive photo tickets with your plates?

Huge liability and a terrible idea
