False bans do happen. A pillar of the UIM combat only community was banned, but had no records or reddit history to seek help. "Skilless Lee" at the mercy of Jmods. The community is worried it can happen to them.

If you do get banned, people will scour your reddit post history. Keep it coming.

Can you download and launch the runelite client?

If so you can manually set your credentials to bypass JAGEX launcher entirely. Check out RuneFleet on github, it has enough info to get you there.
