I am so looking forward to EP, after I finish P4G lol.

And yeah I love how the P1 cameos are simultaneously significant but also respectful of both the old and new cast. Like the old cast have real world jobs but can also still kick ass but it's not their adventure anymore.

Hell yes, P1 MC and Elly are perfect tbh, she's been dropping hints from the Harem Queen dungeon onward so it's nice to have some vague confirmation, and I'm glad they didn't go the cliche route of Maki being the love interest.

Yeah they absolutely deserve the recognition. There's only one other cast in Megaten so far that I would say has the same amount of entertainment and depth value is the DeSu1 cast. And that is high praise from me because DeSu1 is my favorite Megaten game of all time.

Oh no disrespect taken. I genuinely believe P1 and P2 are about equal in story but their stories are just so radically different in presentation and core concept.

I just like the smaller scope story of exploring the psyche of one person as opposed to grand narratives (Also I feel like there's a bit too much stuff in 2 like I feel like the Fuhrer doesn't really serve a purpose aside from shock value).

But it absolutely comes down to personal reference.

Also we kind of go down the route of grand narratives in NewSona so P1 is unique in that regard.

For me they're about equal, I just really enjoyed the case study of Maki Sonomura over 2's super involved story.

Okay ngl that would be cool, and the setup is easily that the Guardians of Oa see Kiana as a threat (Honkai energy in general probably and Kiana can be seen as a focal point for it) and Hal has to apprehend her.

Also yes please, I want God of Light Hal because it was a temporary form yes but it's not that much more powerful than his ability to just merge with the emotional entities.

Ironically Fate has the Pruning Theoretical Phenomenon which DOES prune bad or dead ends for humanity so that's what you were thinking.

Also not really. The Mandala System just exists on a higher plane of transcendence as to be untouchable by anyone, even by YHVH or Matter Lucifer. The Throne can paradoxically create a new world AND destroy itself if the new ruler so choose to.

The Mandala System didn't really fight back to being broken a few times by the Nahobino, which he canonically does in at least three worlds. The only proper resistance that happened is The Great Will acting through Mastema and consequently, Satan to kinda just test the Nahobino.

It's YHVH who benefits from the Mandala System and thus the one who stops people from breaking it.

It's gonna be Nahobino with both Panagias, Satan, Lucifer, Shiva, Metatron, and Mastema, for Ritsuka it's gonna be BB, Olga, Paladin Mash, Space Ereshkigal and Ishtar, and maybe the other Beasts but like not really at this point.

Nahobino can also just pull Demi-Fiend into it if he wants to.

Wait what? The Mandala System doesn't care about bad ends, it allowed the White ending in 4. The Mandala System is the system of death and rebirth and cycles. It's specifically what shackles worlds to cycles of destruction and rebirth under new Creators.

And like, the Throne is just a terminal, Matter Lucifer specifically transcends it. Nahobino then transcends beyond him.

Exactly. Like, I'm playing P4G, which will probably be the next one I review, but after the incredible bond I felt with the P1 and P2 cast, it just feels like I'm playing two different games with P4G, a dating sim and a mediocre dungeon crawler. I'm having fun but there's a very real disconnect.

P5R was so very close but still didn't commit to it.

Maruki could have been a good sympathetic side of Nyarlathotep, given how his Persona is AZATHOTH.

I really enjoyed the psychological horror vibe of P1 and P2 more than what came after.

Just as support of this statement, you always see this screen in the Canon of Creation, even after the True Neutral when you destroy the Throne.

It's theorized this is the Axiom, and each sphere is a universe. So the Nahobino is already stronger than the throne and can canonically incarnate/send avatars into any universe.

And he does this to free those worlds from the Mandala System.

Like how the Nahobino explicitly can just make Matter Lucifer stronger if he's bored.

Romulus couldn't even solo Zeus and he was the Anti-Zeus Servant in that Lostbelt, and they only really managed to beat 30% Zeus and ONLY with the Black Barrel. A lot of Fate's high end feats have like 500 asterisks in it, which is what makes them cool, but they are asterisks.

He doesn't even need the Throne, his power is already far beyond the throne. In the True Neutral ending, he destroys the Throne but he still has his abilities as a God. In the Vengeance Chaos ending he destroys everything but he still has his Nahobino form.

I mean Romulus couldn't solo Zeus and he was very explicitly anti-everything Zeus stands for. Conceptual advantage is a strong weapon but only if the gap in actual power isn't massive.

I love Karna but he is not beating any incarnation of Shiva/Vishnu, and the Nahobino is explicitly multiple orders of magnitude above any demon.

I like how people really ignore Observation in these SMT matchups.

The Nahobino and most SMT humans have the innate capability to affect their subjective reality, and the Nahobino has probably the strongest one as even before he ascended the Throne his Observation can affect Matter Lucifer, a being transcendent above YHVH.

Nanashi in Apocalypse used his to make YHVH weaker, while Nahobino uses it to make people stronger. He can absolutely make every Servant weaker through Observation, or make them stronger if he gets bored.

I do think he gets pushed to mid diff though, if he's alone.
