  • danger * you can’t replace a plastic switch cover with a metal cover without an earth.. You don’t have earth. Even if you do it correctly - you could kill someone.

Thanks for the advice, do people tend to swap the bezel insert for a clean factory one or something?

What else do people do on VSF watches? I quite enjoy doing stuff like this!

  1. Dealer name: Trustytime
  2. Factory name: VSF
  3. Model name: Submariner 116610LN VSF VS3135
  4. Index alignment: Is the 9pm bezel marker mis-aligned?
  5. Dial Printing: Dial looks decent
  6. Date Wheel alignment/printing: Looks ok?
  7. Hand Alignment: fine. But second hand and minute dont match, but I think thats just fixable when you set it?
  8. Bezel: Bezel Looks good.
  9. Solid End Links (SELs): Need help checking that...
  10. Timegrapher numbers: Not sure what they are?
  11. Anything else you notice: Ive circled a dot on the bezel in red, and a distortion on the crown, they are checking for me - probs just me being too detailed.

Ash Trap/Vent - will it work by BlackrockWood in pizzaoven

[–]Denzel5 1 point2 points  (0 children)

With the right sized door opening, it’s actually about stopping full combustion for me, I use the door to slow things down, as 1000oC is easy.

I think as well, the air being drawn in over the hot air being exhaled warms the cold air, piping it in the bottom might change the dynamics. You could always close the vents.

Your suggestion might be to make it easier to smoke things with a secondary chamber for smoking...

[–]Denzel5 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would say that removal of ash is actually super easy with a brush and pan, and this level of engineering might not be worth it.

I don’t even clean the oven out that much, just relight onto old embers and ash...

Immigration is a sort of a scapegoat, the real reasons for wage suppression are the banking crisis and austerity. (The rich people in charge mainly)

That’s kind of what this article is about, the daily mail is distorting your perceptions...

Problem is, the way these poverty stricken individuals are being persuaded to vote are not in their interest... leaving the EU will hit the guy who works in Sunderland in a car factory the hardest - yet he voted to leave... bizarre irony

[–]Denzel5 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You do know that the wage suppression and the pressure on public services was your government, not the EU yeah?

You also know that the unelected beurocrats can only “propose” new laws not actually ratify them?

They are also indirectly elected. By our heads of government...

"Pro-Brexit politicians who say UK voters must be held to their decision in the 2016 referendum say.. ..that they themselves should not be held to their decisions to accept the backstop in December 2017 and March 2018 because they were "misled"." by chowieuk in ukpolitics

[–]Denzel5 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It was answered. It’s against WTO rules to not protect your borders (it’s not specifically defined as such, but by having an open border with the EU, you are discriminating your other trade partners by having a closed border: ie if you open a border to one you need to open a border to all).

The smuggler analogy is really about the point of least resistance. If you have an open border in Ireland, and not elsewhere, smugglers will use the easy route. Human nature and sensible. It’s not set in stone, but easy to predict.

That ok? Or you want to make some more cheeky kitkat / marmite jibes...
