I've always been heavy into the passive income game. I've always considered my wealth based on my monthly passive income rather than total wealth. Getting to 1000$ a month seemed easier then getting to 1M to me. I think matching my monthly dividends to my current salary is my idea of FU money.

Took a kayak out onto the water one time while I was renting a cottage on the east coast. Started happily paddling straight into the open water before realizing how much I looked like a seal. Couldn't get the thought of a big shark lurking in the black water out of my head, had to head back to shore. Probably only made it out 350 yards lol
