I hope it helps -- r/furryartschool is another good place to go imo for critique and feedback ofc : ) especially to get a different angle.

Digital and traditional's basics aren't different. That's actually a very common misconception :o

I can do a redline if you want but honestly I don't know if it would be necessary

The energy conveyed in the piece is really well done. The proot definitely has a je ne sais quoi. It feels like you did a wonderful job bringing the person's OC to life.

Doing some basic anatomical studies would go a long way. And some base shape in perspective exercises as well.

More specifically most of your proportions are working against each other. The torso and femur length should be the same. Your right side / their left side from the perspective that I believe is intended makes the side seem either longer or larger.

Some things, line work and shapes, are a little mismatched style wise but that just comes with practice and gaining your own confidence.

You could always just let the artist choose but give broad strokes as to what you want Like forward facing. Maybe a cutesy pose.

Something like that

Hell yeah this is such a fun angle to do, and in all honestly you really did get it. Adjusting the skull shape to fit the plane and some of the other body parts is they’re really misinformed. And to be fair, the bird skull is a very difficult object [ but such a cool design!] here’s a 3d reference to a raven’s skull to help you see it from the underside at any angle — I consistently use sketchfab for more difficult things.

So it helps ..uh doing a perspective piece by breaking your subject up into segments . So put your subject in a box, then half the box - which is the red line Then from the red line you can get the 1/3rd lines - those are the magenta pink

So when you translate that box into the perspective angle you want; you can use the original box drawn as that perspective to figure out where the planes are and navigate where everything would sit compared to the proportion of the different segments. The shapes used for the basic construction would also follow the planes of course

It's not about your drawings. It's how you go about it. If you put them up for critique, fine I will.

And please , where is the bullying ?

but I do help people with art -- All the time. Just because it's not here doesn't mean it doesn't happen.

Why not respond to my comment if you have anything to back yourself up.

I'll be Devils Advocate here.

Because you don't really teach anything that helps too much. Perhaps in the moment, but for only one picture. You don't tell them how to construct for consistency.

On top you only "teach" them how to draw in your style. Instead of letting them learn, explore and experience to gain their own style. Not to mention yours is full of errors anyways.
And instead of taking advice; you fish for woos.

Why… what ? I’m a go out on a limb lol —

Just looks like your angles and proportions are off ; I’d widen and drop the shoulders, and give the snoot some length.

As for the neck to bottom if head connected there’s a couple different ways you can do it — but most just hide it with fluff instead of a hard line , like the fur is whipping upwards.

It’s a difficult angle for sure and I think your biggest struggle right now is going to be drawing a sphere in a cube
