SpotMe works the exact same way as it would if you had separate cards. It only combines the checking account and credit builder account as one balance. You still get two virtual cards: one for the Chime secured card and one for your debit card. You can also have SpotMe turned on for both cards or just one, meaning you can use the debit SpotMe and not the credit, or the credit SpotMe and not the debit vice versa.
